What we do
The Middle Bee Foundation for Lupus is community-oriented and provides personalized resources for the Chicago lupus community. We offer financial assistance, care packages, volunteer opportunities, community outreach, wellness/fitness classes, quarterly support groups, an annual lupus walk, and educational information about lupus.
History
The Middle Bee Foundation for Lupus is a nonprofit organization incorporated in Chicago, IL founded by Breann Carroll. In 2018, she decided to start a group to support individuals with lupus. Since then, she has organized a lupus walk every year in May with support from her family and friends. Seeing a need for more contributions within the Chicago lupus community, she officially formed a nonprofit in 2021 to advocate for the people she loves and to also help spread awareness about lupus disease.

Mission/Vision
We are dedicated to bringing ease to the lives of all people affected by lupus through support, education, and advocacy services. Our hope is to ultimately put an end to this disease and to live in a world where lupus no longer exists.
